Your Guide to the Bluffton Book Festival
The Bluffton Book Festival takes place around Calhoun Street in the center of Historic Old Town Bluffton, presenting an excellent opportunity to enjoy the festival and everything that Bluffton has the offer.
With 50 available author spots, you never know who will be featured at the festival. A mix of up-and-coming authors and well-known novelists gather to sell and sign their books.
Sit down in the Bluffton Library for an informative and interesting lecture series into the minds of literary geniuses. The free Lecture Series gives visitors a chance to learn about famous authors and the influences behind their some of their works. In the past, the festival’s lecture series included partnerships with The Pat Conroy Literary Center.
These workshops cover a wide variety of literary topics and styles. Experience everything from the essence of Haiku to a South Carolina storyboard writing class. You can tap into your creative writing genius and learn book marketing essentials for both adult and child literature.
VIP Event and Fundraiser
Unlimited hors d’oeuvres, wine, and beer plus author readings and discussions highlight the VIP Event and Fundraiser. There are also raffles, sweepstakes, and more as you enjoy a night of fun and giving. All of the proceeds go to The Literary Center and The Book Industry Charitable Foundation.
The Street Festival is free to the public! Rain or shine, there is live music, food and beverages, and raffles on Calhoun Street. Featured authors sell their books and hold readings and signings. There are plenty of activities and surprises for everyone at the festival!
